We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was incredibly clean! The coffee was delicious. The fireplace was a nice touch and the first thing we noticed when we walked in. There is a beautiful view from every window. We enjoyed using the hot tub (also very clean!) and igloo to relax a little bit. The aesthetic of everything inside is modern, clean, and beautiful. We really appreciated all of the thorough instructions for the electronics and key pad. A quiet location, but only a 5 minute drive from everywhere we know and love in Potsdam. We would highly recommend this air b&b to friends, family, and all of you! We look forward to staying here again!

The apartment is cute and new, with all contemporary design and appliances including a toaster oven, small dorm fridge, microwave (& coffee maker and hot plate stored below the sink). Private key code entrance and screened off stair case above the garage so nobody hears you coming up the steps. Side yard with dense woods, string lights and Adirondack chairs surrounding a clean and maintained fire pit right nearby the hot tub. This is a great hot tub btw, maintains temp, and has a very easy cover that is assisted by a metal arm mechanism so doesn't take much strength or struggle to open or close. Both units have their own private hot tubs, btw. I was wondering about this till we got here, and yes, there is a whole separate area for the ground level which is fenced off and private. There is a geodesic dome that is very warm during the day, and can act as a sauna if you want a little insect screened sweat lodge - love that. They have a mini golf set-up in the front with three holes. The walk down to the river is longer than you might expect, so wear proper foot wear, you are walking down a hill, but there is a wooden stairway for a large chunk of it. Dock, fire pit, and half a picnic table down there. Fun trip.

Absolute favorite Airbnb we’ve been to!! Looks just the pictures, so cute and sparkling clean, we comfortably fit 4 people and luggage. The hot tub is a huge bonus in my opinion, and the riverside view just makes it all the more magical. I cannot say enough about Beths Place it was “Absolute Perfection”. We cannot wait to go back.

I was dreading the thought of having to take my son to college as he was the first to leave to pursue his dreams as a professional Vocalist & Music educator at Crane.

We went up early to spend some quality time together and explore the area.

Our stay at Beths place provides so many wonderful memories that seeing him off was full of laughter & smiles recounting the fun we had .

We kayaked for hours then soaked our sore arms the next night tub complete with flip flops & towels (very nice touch Beth).

We enjoyed a fire down by the river under a full moon. We woke up to amazing views over looking the river each morning from our comfy beds with high quality linens.

Everywhere your turn in the apartment is a visual treat with Beths sense of style.

The kids all want a Murphy bed now. They thought it was the best thing ever.

The garden bubble was also a favorite spot to sit & unwind. That that too is on list of must haves now.( thanks beth😉)

All we missed was the putting green but we will get to that next time.

Be sure not to miss Lampson Falls when you go. It’s less than a half hour away with a drive through the charming country side.

We were there for the sunset and it was breathtaking.

You can walk right out onto to the falls & take it all in without crowds of people.

In fact it was just us there. We took a ton of amazing photos . It was an unforgettable experience.

Beths Place surpassed all of our expectations I provided some of our favorite family memories ❤️

Beth’s Place II is everything advertised, and then some. The apartment was clean, spacious, and the perfect home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed, and the bathroom had all the necessities. We slept very comfortably in the cozy bedroom after enjoying the entire day out on the beach and in the water. It was easy to enjoy the outdoor space by having a fire with everything provided, and soaking in the hot tub. This beautiful space was the perfect place to celebrate our family moon, and Beth was a wonderful host! We will be back for sure!

Was lucky to stay there on such a beautiful night and got to enjoy the hot tub on a cool clear night. The rooms were extremely clean and there were instructions on how to use everything in the house from the tv remotes to the hot tub. This was such a beautiful apartment! So many activities ranging from shopping, kayaking, hiking, and even just relaxing down by the water. Our stay was amazing and hope to visit again.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We slept 5 using the pull outs and it worked perfectly! The TV has multiple different video platforms as well.

The scenery was beautiful and our stay was amazing! If we had any questions Beth was available via messenger on the Airbnb web site as well. I would totally recommend staying here!!

We had an amazing stay. We especially loved swimming in the river, kayaking to Mexican food in the village, hanging out in the hot tub, campfire smores, playing games and watching movies together in the super clean cleverly designed apartment. Make sure you read the description before you book-the space was large for maybe two people and there isn’t a full kitchen. Everything was beautiful and super clean. The space isn’t large but is really well thought out. We had plenty of room for our family of four (two adults and two young kids). Our boys loved the Murphy bed and the decor was stylish and modern. Even though the weather was chilly, we were able to enjoy the heated igloo and hot tub which meant we could be outside even in the cold. Beth provided lots of suggestions about local activities and restaurants. We’d love to return in warmer weather once the beach is complete and it would be possible to take full advantage of the water front.

5 star experience! Beth's place was exactly as described and so much more! The space was beautiful and sparkling clean. Self check in was perfect and the code to get in was easy. The entire space and site was quiet and relaxing and the amenities were INCREDIBLE. We enjoyed a cozy fire, relaxed in the hot tub, enjoyed the outdoor heated igloo space and relaxed on the couch inside, watching tv before falling asleep. Beth even left a list of places to eat around the area and we were able to get delivery and never had to leave the site. Beth's communication was fantastic and she was so hospitality. Not only was the space pleasing to the eye and comfortable to the touch, Beth’s hospitality and communication was very helpful and appreciated. It truly felt like a home away from home.

This is a very clean, beautifully decorated space. I had a lot of privacy, yet my host was just a text away and her replies were quick. Although it was self check-in, there were welcoming touches and Beth checked in with me soon after my arrival to make sure all was well. The apartment is very close to town. We wanted a quiet place to stay for a few days and we got it! It was perfect. Beautiful, comfortable, immaculate apartment on a gorgeous quiet piece of property yet close to town. It rained most of the time we were there but my husband fished and kayaked in the river while I read and relaxed in the apartment with gorgeous views or in the cool garden dome! Beth answered any questions very quickly and her husband had a fire pit ready for us to have a fire - which we did on the last night- sitting in our private space next to the woods. This was perhaps the best Air B & B we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! The space was carefully thought out ( indoors and out). Beth was very communicative. There was nothing we lacked. The location was great. Plenty of hiking nearby. Close access to town for meals in restaurants with option of staying in and cooking on bbq. Beth's airbnb is just like the pictures. The apartment is comfortable, modern, and everything you would want it to be. Beth is also an amazing host, she answered promptly when my friend and I needed help or wanted advice on where to go hiking, get food, or the best way to navigate the river (even when you're currently on it). The location is great, everything is around 10 minutes away including great trails, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. and she is of course right on the river for some nice kayaking. I would love to come here again and I would absolutely recommend it.

Beth’s Place II Review
My fiancé is a travel nurse and we had the pleasure of living in Beth’s Place II from May through August. Beth and Jim are possibly two of the kindest and most considerate hosts we’ve encountered along our travel journey and if we could rate this place with more than five stars we would. The apartment is bright and a joy to wake in every morning - the river views are outstanding from bed with a coffee in hand (just sayin’).
From floor to ceiling and in every room you can easily tell how much love was poured into this apartment. The Reasoners truly want to give you a slice of heaven in this apartment and that comes through the moment you walk in the door. It also flows well for two people; we were able to have a few family members up as well and it didn’t feel over-crowded with four.
Without doubt though our favorite part of the property is the outdoor space. We grilled constantly (provided) and spent a lot of time by the fire pit (also the best). We even adjusted our fitness routine to accommodate outdoor workouts - the driveway is perfect for some hill runs. Beth and Jim also provide you with life jackets and oars to use their kayaks and we thoroughly enjoyed that as well. If Beth offers to take you on a kayak tour into town: say yes, you’ll be glad you did. The walk down and back up from the water edge is not for the faint of heart so just be careful - it’s steep.
If we come back to Potsdam, we will beg, steal, and borrow if we have to just to stay here again. It’s bliss. Thank you Beth and Jim!!!
